Brave Smile.
Tear Stained
Red Rimmed
Kinda like when you see someone you know has just had their heart crushed but they're smiling like an idiot so you look closer to prove they are still human.

Usually i see this in happy and flirty and then feel like she never loved him. that's when i hit him upside the head and point them out. the signs she's still human.

Aww...

This is such a poignant piece. I really like the way you have set the scene/situation and how you have portrayed the concept to us there, though it is a bit cliche with the words that you have used...

What I really like about this piece is the way you've gone quite indepth there... starting off with the smile that we see, we see that it is brave, and then there is the whole second line followed by the third... and the best bit about the third is, not only the alliteration which adds further impact to things, but the actual 'Red' part, which emphasises the colour... I feel as if that adds more to this piece and makes it more a piece that fits the prompt overall.

Thank you.

I try to convey emotions in everything I do so I'm very glad that you like it enough to comment on it.

I'm also guilty of using cliches in my work a lot. I like using obscure words sometimes because the reader can put their own life's influence on the words but with cliches oh they just have this irresistible force that pulls imagery from the mind and makes the words came to life from the readers experience. :D

Again thank you for commenting
